Dr. Joslyn Slater has been caring for smiles in Anamosa since 2008. A graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, she brings strong training and years of hands-on experience to every visit. New patients are always welcome at her practice, and the office accepts most major PPO plans, so getting care that fits your budget is usually straightforward.

Dr. Slater earned her dental degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, one of the region's respected dental schools. That foundation shaped her approach to modern, evidence-based general dentistry, and it's part of why patients throughout Anamosa continue to trust her with their care.
Dr. Slater currently serves as President of the Iowa Academy of General Dentistry. This role keeps her connected to the latest developments in general dentistry and reflects her ongoing commitment to the profession beyond her own patient chair.
Our approach
Dr. Slater knows that not everyone loves going to the dentist, and that's okay. She takes a gentle, judgment-free approach with every patient, whether you're due for a routine cleaning or you're coming in for the first time in years. Many patients tell us they finally feel comfortable in a dental chair after seeing her, and that comfort matters just as much as clinical skill.
